يَاتَوَّابْ تُبْ عَلَيْنَا
Yâ Tawwâb Tub ‘alainâ 2x

O The One Who accepts repentance, accept our repentance

وَارْحَمْنَا وَانْظُرْ اِلَيْنَا

Warhamnâ wandhur ilainâ 2x 

Have mercy on us and please gaze upon us

 يَاتَوَّابْ تُبْ عَلَيْنَا

O The One Who accepts repentance, accept our repentance

وَارْحَمْنَا وَانْظُرْ اِلَيْنَا

Have mercy on us and please gaze upon us

قد گفانی علم ربی ، من سؤالی واختباري

Qod kafânî ‘ilmu robbî min su-âlî wakhtiyârî 

My Lord's knowledge has sufficed me, from asking or choosubg

فدعائی وابتهالی ، شاهد لی بافتقاری

Fadu’â-î wabtihâlî syâhidun lî biftiqôrî 

For my duaa and my agonising supplication is a wthness to my proverty

O The One Who accepts repentance, accept our repentance

وَارْحَمْنَا وَانْظُرْ اِلَيْنَا

Have mercy on us and please gaze upon us

فلهذا السر ادعوا ، فی يساری وعساری

Falihadhas-sirri ad’û fî yasârî wa ‘asârî 

For this secret I make supplication in times of ease and times of difficulty

انا عبد صار فخری ، ضمن فقری واضطراری

Ana ‘abdun ṣāra fakhrî dimna faqrî wadlthirôrî 

I am a slave whose pride is in his proverty and obligation

يَاتَوَّابْ تُبْ عَلَيْنَا

Yâ Tawwâb Tub ‘alainâ 2x  

O The One Who accepts repentance, accept our repentance

وَارْحَمْنَا وَانْظُرْ اِلَيْنَا

Warhamnâ wandhur ilainâ 2x

Have mercy on us and please gaze upon us

ياإلهی ومليکی أنت تعلم گيف حالی 

Yâ ilâhî wa malîkî Anta ta’lam kayfa hâlî

O my Lord and my Kind, You know my state

وبما قد حل قلبی ، من هموم واشتغالی

Wabimâ qod halla qolbî min humûmin wash tighôlî 

And what has settled in my heart of agonies and preoccupations

 يَاتَوَّابْ تُبْ عَلَيْنَا

Yâ Tawwâb Tub ‘alainâ 2x

O The One Who accepts repentance, accept our repentance

وَارْحَمْنَا وَانْظُرْ اِلَيْنَا

Warhamnâ wandhur ilainâ 2x

Have mercy on us and please gaze upon us

فتدارکنی بلطف ، منك يامولی الموالی

Fatadâroknî biluthfin minka yâ mawlâl mawâlî 

Save me with a gentleness, from You, You, O Lord of Lords

ياگريم الوجه غثنی قبل أن يفنی اصطباری

Yâ karîmal wajhi ghitsnî qobla an yafnâ -shthibârî 

Oh save me, Most Generous before I run out of patience

يَاتَوَّابْ تُبْ عَلَيْنَا

Yâ Tawwâb Tub ‘alainâ 2x  

O The One Who accepts repentance, accept our repentance

وَارْحَمْنَا وَانْظُرْ اِلَيْنَا

Warhamnâ wandhur ilainâ 2x

Have mercy on us and please gaze upon us

ياسريع الغوث غوثا ، منك يدرکنی سريعا

Yâ sarî’al ghoutsi ghoutsan minka yudriknî sarî’ân

O One who is swift in sending aid, I ask for aid that will arrive to me swiftly

 يهزم العسر ويأتی ، بالذی أرجو جميعا

Yahzimul ‘usro wa ya,tî billadzî arjû jamî’ân

It will defeat all difficulty and it will bring all that I hope for

يَاتَوَّابْ تُبْ عَلَيْنَا

Yâ Tawwâb Tub ‘alainâ 2x  

O The One Who accepts repentance, accept our repentance

وَارْحَمْنَا وَانْظُرْ اِلَيْنَا

Warhamnâ wandhur ilainâ 2x

Have mercy on us and please gaze upon us

يا قريبا يامجيبا ، يا عليما يا سميعا

Yâ qorîbân yâ mujîbân yâ ‘alîmân yâ sami’a

O Near One Who answers and All Knowing and All Hearing

 قد تحققت بعجزی ، وخضوعی وانکساری

Qod tahaqqoqtu bi’ajzî wa khudlû’î wankisârî

I have attaubed realisation through my incapacity, my submission and my brokeness

يَاتَوَّابْ تُبْ عَلَيْنَا

Yâ Tawwâb Tub ‘alainâ 2x  

O The One Who accepts repentance, accept our repentance

وَارْحَمْنَا وَانْظُرْ اِلَيْنَا

Warhamnâ wandhur ilainâ 2x

Have mercy on us and please gaze upon us

حاجة فی النفس يارب ، فاقضها ياخير قاضی

Hâjatan fîn-nafsi yâ robbi faqdlihâ yâ khoiro qôdlî

There is a need in my soul, O Allah. So please fulfill it, O  Best of Fulfillers

 وأرح سری وقلبی ، من لظاها والشواظ

Wa arih sirrî wa qolbî min ladhôhâ wasysyuwâdhi

And comfort my secret and my heart from its burning and its shrapnel
